I know you see the two words written in caps above you and you know you have been through it at some point of your life. Most teens look at these two words and just for the most part, shake them off. We know we stay up way too late and wake up way too early the next day, it' the way we function to be frank. You hear all about how our parents tell us, ''IT'S GONNA CATCH UP TO YOU!!!'' but we know we're right in our own way and so continue to do what we do. But is it really the best move for us teens? Maybe for some but definitely not for all. Copy and paste the URL below to read an article I found on the matter. It scares me to tell you the truth. You think not getting enough sleep at night really won't affect you, until you get older and health problems start arising. Teenagers make the mistake of thinking they're absolutely invincible and nothing can happen to them until it DOES. I don't know about anyone else, but I think now is the time to truly think about what you are doing at night and how your current sleep pattern affects EVERYTHING: Today, Tomorrow, and the next day. Continued sleep deprivation and I think us teens are in trouble.

I do agree with you. I remember when my father would tell me when to go to sleep and I used to have a bed time on school nights which was 9. Now that ive gotten older my father dont tell me when to go to sleep anymore he thinks I know when the right time is. However I have to be up in the morning around 5 30 which is very early and sometimes I dont get to sleep until 12 because of homework and projects which is horrible. I need to start pacing my time correcly and start going back to sleeping at around 10 other wise I wont be able to function in school normally.
