OBAMA: AMERICA'S BEST OPTION?

I can't help but to bring up this subject, what with the recent Healthcare bill being passed that has caused such an uproar among us people. When people first heard of the bill, it was thought that this would in fact, help america. But all it seems to actually do is prolong our agony. While it is expensive, why should children be ensured through the age of 26? Wouldn't you think that at least the age of 21, you are able to stand on your own two feet financially speaking? It doesn't really help us out and it affects us right now. We're in deep trouble with our government situation. Obama's promised change, but the only change that's happened isn't GOOD change. I can't help but to worry at this point at exactly who we elected to run our country. granted, I couldn't stand George W. Bush and it's a step up, But a monkey is also a step up from our previous president, I'm sorry. Our country has been getting worse and worse, we're falling behind in debt. Things just seem to be getting worse and worse for us.I just wonder what's going to happen next for us. I can';t help but to.

FORMSPRING: A PLACE FOR QUESTIONS OR HUMILITY

It's amazing nowadays how all these ''social networking'' sites came about.First there was Myspace, which was all the rage from 2003 to about late 2008.Now there's Facebook, which is pretty much the popular thing now among everybody. The most recent sites to come about were Twitter, a way of ''texting'' among celebrities and other people, and the very newest one to come about- Formspring. Formspring is a place where people can anonymously leave questions on a person's page.Copy and paste the URL below this post to see what Formspring looks like. I don't really like the idea of it, as Formspring is used more or less as an outlet to make fun of people. Becuase of this, many people get upset and then delete their accounts. The bad thing about it too is that some people have their Formspring and Facebook accounts connected and all Formspring posts also appear on Facebook. I truthfully don't know what the purpose of Formspring even really is.But I also wonder how stupid people can be to create one, then get upset when ANONYMOUS people ask them questions to insult them, and end up deleting them from all the drama. I have not and will not ever make a Formspring account, as it will just result in humility. Why sites like this even exist is beyond me. Is it worth providing a place for people to make fun of other people? I don't think Formspring will last around too much longer, there's just too many problems arising from this site. Unless Formspring changes its ways, it will ''die out'' in the next two to three years.

LANDMARK DESTRUCTION BEST ANSWER FOR CREATING SPACE?

http://www.demolitionofyankeestadium.com/

http://www.nydailynews.com/ny_local/bronx/2010/03/07/2010-03-07_last_fall_classic_old_yankee_stadium_comes_tumbling_down.html

On the news and in the newspapers, Me being the ''diehard'' Yankee fan that I am, I couldn't help but be a little upset as I looked the pictures of the old Yankee stadium being demolished. This was a place I had been to personally, and loved the history behind the place. Yankee legends like Babe Ruth, Lou Gehrig, Mickey Mantle and Joe Dimaggio once stood in and played on that very field. The yankees played there from 1903 to 2008, and once the new stadium opened in 2009, the old stadium was basically vacant. It was being knocked down to ''make space'' for parks and recreation for the bronx community. Other people wanted to preserve the old stadium and have it stay up and have it be a museum for baseball fans to visit and reminisce about the history. I don't know, I feel knocking it down ''erases'' part of the Yankees franchise in a way. I mean sure you'll have the memories, but it's the equivalent of knocking down a landmark. But then again, if there's a new stadium, there's really no need for the old stadium anymore.I don't know, I'm torn. What do you guys think? Is knocking down the old stadium for space for parks and recreations really the best thing?

Is It Really Worth it To Trust Somebody?

It's always been something I wonder about. How do you go through life with it? I mean there's people who trust everyone and get betrayed and there's people who don't trust anybody and can never really develop a ''true'' friendship with anyone. Of course, You always trust your family in the worst of times, but what about people that don't really have a family to turn to? That's when it becomes not a choice, but a necessity almost in a way, to trust people. There's all different kinds of people out there in this world. many personalities, many traits, many actions, that lets you know what kind of a person they are. There are plenty of people who i trust and don't trust.

What about when it pertains to relationships? Trust is essentially everything in a relationship. What happens if two people are not very trusting in each other? Well then there's a problem.I don't know why it is, but i have a very hard time trying to trust people, ''let them in''. But there's a balance. You want to be honest and trustful but not be taken advantage of. It's like they say, ''Trust is like a vase... Once it's broken it can be fixed, But the vase will never be the same again.''
